Teaching methodology utilized at Indian Institute of Foreign Languages for IELTS coaching:
IELTS exam has two modules: The General module and the Academic module. The General module is for professionals and individual who are planning to immigrate to an English speaking country for work or for permanent residence. The Academic module is for students going abroad for their higher studies. Each of the two modules has four parts: Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading. The results of IELTS are calibrated in the form of “Band Score”, the overall band score is 9. The band score requirement varies from country to country and from university to university.
We help our students prepare for the chosen module in a very structured and systematic manner. We conduct group classes as well as face-to-face classes and every student get individual attention in each of the modules. Indian Institute of Foreign Languages boasts of a team of highly qualified and experience English language trainers, who is well informed about the current market trends in competitive exams like IELTS/TOEFL/CPE/CAE etc.,
Our trainers assess the students before the commencement of the course to check their English competency. Each student has some areas of difficulty while preparing for the exams. Some students might be fluent in speaking, but might not be good at writing skills and some others might be weak at reading and comprehending long passages of text. Most of the students find listening part of the module very tough, as the voice recordings played in the exam will be a mixture of US, British, Australian and Canadian accents. Our trainers identify these areas of difficulty faced by the students and coach them accordingly to help our students get a good band score.
